The cause of blisters is due to wearing uncomfortable and tight shoes. Because of long walking, the friction occurs between the shoes and the skin thus swelling takes place. The process starts gradually, first the skin becomes red then it burst out to expose the dermis layer deep inside the skin. Meanwhile, the fluid accumulates and forms the blister. Blister is actually full of blood and passes out when the blood vessels are damaged.

Blisters are formed in different sizes and painful. Infections may occur if not treated initially. If you want immediate response and relief from pain, you would not have to visit the doctor as these natural ways will give you good responses.

Sandalwood: It is an excellent way to use sandalwood to get rid from the blood blisters. You would have to prepare the sandalwood paste from organic sandalwood powder. Mix half tsp of sandalwood powder and one tbsp. of rose water. Mix both the ingredients well together until it turns to a thick paste. Apply this paste on the blisters then wait for 20 minutes so the skin can absorb. Rinse it off with warm water. You should do this remedy 4 times a day. Sandalwood contains cooling properties thus it reduces the pain and inflammation.

Ice Pack: You can also simply place an ice pack on the affected part. Take maximum 10 ice cubes and wrap them in a towel. Tie the ends of towel then apply it on the painful area. Hold the towel for 5 minutes then repeat the procedure again.

Cucumber: Cucumber has thousands of benefits regarding the skin thus it works greatly for the blisters too. Cucumber has a wide range of ascorbic and caffeic acid in it that helps in reducing the inflammation and swelling of the blisters. This will help in healing the problem quickly. Take a cucumber and cut it into round slices then apply them on the blisters and wait for 15 minutes. Repeat the process until you see the blisters are disappeared.

Aloe vera Gel: Aloe vera is a proper cure for the skin. It is well known for its soothing effects. It also has healing and moisturizing properties.  You would have to squeeze the gel from the aloe vera leaf then mix it with an equal amount of vitamin E. Apply this mixture directly on the blisters then wait for 15 minutes. Wipe of the excess amount with a tissue. You will see ongoing improvement within few days.
